There’s an international selection of great food and beverages at Lavender in the Park. Come and enjoy whatever your heart desires. Each of the Farms on Tour also has great food and beverages so there are 22 eating opportunities at the Sequim Lavender Farm Faire!

Lavender in the Park Wine and Beer Garden

The only locally produced lavender infused wine, Mélange Nouveau (The New Blend) will be available for tasting at the Lavender Farm Faire Wine & Beer Garden. The wine was made by Olympic Cellars, Port Angeles, and is available for sale at the winery.

“Cooking with Lavender” Demonstration
On Sunday, five of the farms have prepared a “cooking with lavender” demonstration. New this year, Sunshine Lavender and Herb Farm will be offering cooking demonstrations all weekend long.




Cedarbrook:
   Create a fourcourse lavender meal on the garden grill - Cooking Demo with Shellie and Tracie. Come enjoy the demonstration and learn cooking secrets tips for cooking with lavender and herbs. Best of all you get to sample the delicious food. Spring salad greens with our Cranberry Lavender Vinaigrette topped with grilled asparagus , roasted red potatoes with Herbs de Provence, grilled fl ank steak with lavender pepper marinade, sautéed pears with our lavender honey.

Olympic:
   Using lavender as an herb in cooking, learn how to make Herb de Provence and cook with lavender as a subtle ingredient with Chefs John and David from the Garden Bistro.

Port Williams:
  Sunday only, 2 p.m., Bella Italia’s Chef Dave Senters will demonstrate recipes that have put Bella Italia on the Olympic Coast Cuisine culinary map. Chef Senters will prepare Lavender Risotto featuring Port Williams Lavender Farm culinary lavender and organic Carnaroli rice from Tenuta Castello.

  Culinary program demonstration with Chef Dave Long of Oven Spoonful.

Sunshine:
  Cooking Demonstrations all weekend long at the Olympic Restaurant Equipment Stage:
   Friday: 11 a.m. - Kathy Gehrt, “Discover Cooking with Lavender” Author and all around lavender enthusiast, Culinary Cooking Demonstration. Kathy will be using lavender to prepare a breakfast entrée. Question and answer session, and book signing after the demonstration.
   1 p.m. Kathy Gehrt will be preparing and discussing Her “Favorite Savory Lavender Dishes.” Question and answer session, and book signing after the demonstration.
   3 p.m. Kathy Gehrt will be preparing and discussing Her “Best Lavender Desserts.” Question and answer session, and book signing after the demonstration.
   Saturday: Jim Queen from Chocolate Serenade will demonstrate using lavender with chocolate at 11:30 a.m. Chef Aaron Stark will prepare one of his favorite dishes using lavender at 1 p.m. and at
   3 p.m., Carmen Ragsdale, author and co-owner of Sunshine Herb and Lavender Farm, will prepare lavender plank salmon and lavender rosemary focaccia bread.
   Sunday: 11:30 a.m, 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., Chef Sarah Wong of the Seattle Culinary Academy, will demonstrate the use of lavender in one of her favorite dishes.

Food At The Farms

Each of the farms has great food and beverages, some of the menus also include wine and beer.



Cedarbrook Herb & Lavender Farm:
   Cedarbrook Garden Café. Dine inside, on the patio or out in the gardens on a blanket. Lavender cheesecake, baked Lavender cheesecake, baked lavender goodies, lavender ice cream, lavender lemonade, lavender espresso items, lavender chocolate iced tea and more. In our Garden Cafe Outdoor Booth, espresso just the way you like it,  lavender lemonade, lavender chocolate mint tea, lavender ice cream, box lunches, fresh pastries and lavender desserts.

Olympic Lavender Farm:
   Olympic Lavender Farm ice cream; The Garden Bistro - woodfi red pizza. Port Williams Lavender Farm: Port Williams lavender ice cream. Bella Italia Restaurant - Twilight Mushroom Ravioli, grilled lavender pepper sausage, lavender marinated grilled prawns, lavender lemon ice cream sandwich, honey lavender lemonade, beer and wine garden with Washington wines.

Purple Haze: Oven
   Spoonful and the Bushwacker Restaurant will team up to offer cook-to-order wild salmon, Polish dogs, Herbes de Provence chicken, smoked salmon salad, cheese plate, organic greens with Purple Haze’s own salad dressing,
baked beans, corn on the cob, brownies, lavender margaritas, Olympic Cellars Lavender Wine, beer and new this year, a lavender cosmopolitan.

Sunshine Herb & Lavender Farm:
   New this year “The Sunshine Dog,” a beefy two handed affair, Barbecued with our sauce, sautéed with grilled sweet onions and grilled bell peppers. Topped with grilled sauerkraut and a dab of cheese, lathered with Sunshine Herb & Lavender Farm’s new lavender mustard. Regular Grilled Hot Dog and Chips; BBQ chicken prepared with our lavender chicken rub and basted with lavender apricot BBQ sauce, served with baked beans, bread or salad; pulled chicken tortilla wrap with our chicken rub and simmered in our lavender apricot pineapple BBQ sauce; farm salads. 
At the Mocha Bar, lavender ice cram, lavender lemonade, smoothies, teas, soda and water.

Washington Lavender Farm:
   High tea (by reservation), ice cold lavender lemonade, Martha’s own lavender cookies. lavender goodies, lavender ice cream,
